In his final statement made earlier today,
the War Crimes Prosecutor proposed that convicting verdicts
be imposed on defendants Branko Grujić and Branko Popović,
for their involvement in a war crime against civilian
population, committed in the area of Zvornik in 1992
(Zvornik II).

A total
of three cases addressed by the War Crimes Prosecutor’s
Office this far (Ovčara I – Vujović et al., Ovčara II –
Milan Bulić, and Ovčara III – Damir Sireta), for the
criminal offence recognized by article 144 re article 22
(war crime against prisoners of war) of the SFRY
Criminal Code, HAVE BEEN RESOLVED BY FINAL JUDGMENTS.
FIFTEEN INDIVIDUALS have been sentenced to a total of
207 years in prison.
