Appeals Court’s decision in Skočić puts the trust of victims families at stake

In the course of a repeated trial in the Skočić case, the War Crimes Prosecutor will try to prove once again his charges against seven persons convicted in the first instance to a total of 72 years in prison, for a war crime against Roma civilians, committed in Zvornik in July 1992.

THROUGH COOPERATION, BH PROSECUTOR BRINGS INDICTMENT IN THE DEATHS OF 90 SERBS IN TRNOVO AREA

 

The Prosecutor of the Special War Crimes Department – part of the BH Prosecutor’s Office has indicted three persons – Edhem Godinjak, Medaris Šarić and Mirko Bunoz – for involvement in war crimes against civilians and prisoners of war, committed in the broader area of Trnovo, a municipality outside Sarajevo, and resulting in the deaths of more than 90 people of Serb nationality. The toll included mostly elderly people – some over 80, a large number of women, as well as a child born in 1990. >>>
